Research-drive brand strategy

With a background in sustainability and marketing, Jet researches topics that support a sustainable packaging strategy. Being passionate about understanding the facts behind claims and offering solutions that ‘work’ in the real world, she talks to industry and product experts on a regular basis. An example is her role in Verive’s Life Cycle Analysis, comparing carbon footprints of disposable and reusable cups and containers, which was executed in collaboration with the University of Exeter. She brings across the story of Verive and sustainable food packaging solutions by training colleagues, talking to end users and translating knowledge into digestible content.

Growing with Bunzl accross Europe

Jet has a broad experience within Bunzl: right after graduating her Master at the University of Amsterdam, she started the Bunzl Young Talent Program in the Summer 2020, for which she worked at three different operating companies across Europe. The entrepreneurial mindset is something that she and Bunzl share. Working with colleagues from all over Europe has taught Jet to adapt and has given her the opportunity to connect with many. This network still benefits her today, in bringing across Verive’s message of sustainable packaging strategies.

Making sustainability work in practice

Jet wants to get things done and get them done right. She recognizes the large responsibility that comes with Bunzl’s scale, and the opportunities this brings to make a difference. She understands that sustainable practice can look different for different people and is eager to help customers find a way that suits their business.
